Feature: Support Desk – Dashboard

The Support Desk Dashboard provides a central overview page within the Support Desk module. This dashboard consists of various widgets that give users quick insights into the status of support tickets, planned changes, and service reports.

Note: This module is exclusively available for Veducon Managed Services customers.

Dashboard Structure

Top Widgets

At the top of the dashboard, there are four shortcut widgets providing quick access to key statistics:

  • Open Tickets: Number of open tickets within the Support Desk.
  • Completed Tickets February: Number of tickets completed in the current month.
  • Planned Changes February: Number of planned changes in the ongoing month.
  • Service Reports: Overview of published service reports.

New Tickets Widget

Below the widgets, there is a table view displaying all new tickets. This table includes the following columns:

  • Title: Short description of the ticket.
  • Ticket Number: Unique ticket identifier.
  • Status: Current status (e.g., In Progress).
  • Prio: Priority level (e.g., P2).
  • Date Created: Date the ticket was created.
  • Created By: Name of the submitter.
  • Action: Link to view ticket details.

TIP

Click on ‘View ticket details’ to access the full ticket chat and additional ticket information.

Planned Changes Widget

This widget displays all planned changes within the Support Desk. It includes details such as:

  • Change Title
  • Change Status (e.g., Pending Approval)
  • Change Date
  • Reference Number

TIP

Keep track of planned changes to stay informed about upcoming system modifications or scheduled updates.

Recent Service Reports Widget

Regularly check service reports to stay updated on past incidents and resolutions, which can help with troubleshooting recurring issues. This section displays the most recent service reports. If no reports are available, a message will be shown: No service reports were published! Check back at a different time.
