Add/edit a location branch

Follow these steps to successfully add a new location branch in Pollux.

Steps to Add/edit a location branch:

Step 1: Navigate to the Location Branches Section

Use the sidebar to go to Locations → Branches. This is where all location branches are listed, and new ones can be created.

Step 2: Click “Add New Location Branch”

On the “All Location Branches” page, you’ll see a tile labeled Add New Location Branch. Click this to start the creation process.

Step 3: Fill in the Required Fields

You’ll be taken to a form where you must enter essential information.

Field Descriptions:

  • Branch Name*
    Give the branch a clear and unique name.
    Examples: “Office”, “Data Center”

  • Branch Code*
    Enter a 2–4 letter identifier.
    Examples: “OFC”, “DTC”

  • Logo*
    Upload a .png or .svg file (max 1MB, ideally 250x250px).

Step 4: Click Submit

Once the form is complete, hit the blue Submit button to save the new branch. The system will process it and add it to your location branches.

TIP

If you’re uploading a logo and it doesn’t meet the specs, try compressing or resizing it online before uploading.

✏️ How to Edit a Location Branch

  • Go to Locations → Branches

  • Click the branch you want to modify

  • Update any fields needed (name, code, logo)

  • Click Save to apply changes

Encountering Problems?

  • Missing required fields? Double-check for asterisks (*) and fill in all fields
  • Logo won’t upload? Ensure file is .png/.svg and under 1MB
  • Duplicate branch code? Use a unique identifier not already in use
  • Can’t find your branch? Refresh the dashboard or check filters
